SARLAHI, MARCH 28Food materials and clothes, among other materials were provided as relief to the fire victims of the Dalit settlement at Dhankaul Rural Municipality in Sarlahi. Relief materials distributed to COVID-hit impoverished families NMA starts distributing relief materials to mountaineers Sarlahi District Disaster Management Committee and Minister for Woman Children Youth and Sports Birendra Prasad Singh of Madhes Province and Nepali Congress Sarlahi President Surendra Prasad Singh, among other helping hands, provided relief materials separately to fire victims today. Chief District Officer Thaneshwor Gautam, security officials, among other stakeholders, reached the settlements and offered the relief materials to fire victims.According to District Administration Office, 30 tents, 30 blankets, one sack of rice each, utensils, and clothes, were provide to the fire victims in coordination with Nepal Red-cross Society Malangawa, Bagmati Sewa Samaj and World Vision.Some13 houses of Paswan settlement were destroyed and a fire spread at Harkathawa on Saturday.A version of this article appears in the print on March 29, 2022, of The Himalayan Times. .
